Helen Lucille (Wood) Lewis

Helen Lucille Lewis, age 89 of McKeesport, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 in UPMC McKeesport Hospital.  Born March 9, 1928 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Emmett and Agnes (Bumbarger) Wood.  Helen attended the Christian Missionary Alliance Church in McKeesport and was preceded in death by her husband the late George V. Lewis, who passed away November 1, 2005, and her brothers Robert and Rev. William Wood.  She is survived by her children George V. (Judy) Lewis, Jr. of Mt. Vernon, Mark (Diana) Lewis of Greenock, Paul (Martha) Lewis of Durham, ME, Gerald (Mary Lou) Lewis of Hanover, and Susan (Dean) Helderlein of White Oak; her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and her sister Marian Derr in North Carolina.  Friends will be received in the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home and Crematory, Versailles, on Friday, January 5, 2018 from 2 to 8 PM.  A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 12 Noon with Pastor Marty Smith officiating.  Entombment will be private at Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.
