Frances V. (Amicarella) Geer Reyes

Frances V. Geer Reyes, age 94 of Chagrin Falls, OH and formerly of Port Vue, passed away on Friday, December 22, 2017 in Arden Courts of Chagrin Falls.  Born February 28, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine (LaRocca) Amicarella.  A former cafeteria worker at South Allegheny High School, she will be fondly remembered by the many SAHS alums who passed through the cafeteria line between 1964 and 1974.  Frances was preceded in death by her first husband John Sherman Geer, her second husband Charles Reyes, and a daughter Deborah Geer-Russo.  She is survived by her daughters Judith (James) Liberty of Concord, OH and Patricia (Frank) Smith of Milton, MA, her grandchildren Courtney and Frank Smith IV and Mark Liberty, her sister Mary Kisan of Versailles, and also nieces and nephews.   Her family would also like to thank the nurses, caregivers, and entire staff of Arden Courts of Chagrin Falls for their outstanding care of Frances for the past 11 years.  Friends will be received in the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home and Crematory, Versailles, on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 4 to 8 PM.  A Blessing will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 10 AM in the funeral home with procession and burial to follow to Calvary Cemetery, Port Vue.
