Frances (Wielkiewicz) Dufalla

Frances Dufalla, age 89, of Forward Twp., passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Mt. Vernon of Elizabeth. She was a member of Ascension of Our Lord Byzantine Catholic Church in Clairton and enjoyed baking, cooking, cleaning, and caring for her family. Born February 7, 1928 in Nemacolin, she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Anna (Donesec) Wielkiewicz and wife of the late Michael J. Dufalla. She is survived by daughter, Anita Dufalla of Pittsburgh; sons, Ronald (Debbie) Dufalla of Lincoln Borough and Michael (Karen) Dufalla of Forward Twp.; grandchildren, Lucas, Stephen (Jacquelyn), Theresa, Christopher (Jessica) and Rachael  Dufalla; great-grandchildren, Tyler, Porter, Henry and Edith Dufalla; sisters, Ann Vargo of Uniontown, and Esther Morganosky and Pearl Beningo, both of Cleveland, OH; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sister, Louise Moscalink, and brothers, Louis Wilkovich and Walter, Edward and Stanley Wielkiewicz. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Sunday, August 27, 2017 from 2-8 PM with a Parastas service at 7 PM. A Funeral Liturgy will be Monday, August 28, 2017 at 11:30 AM in Ascension of Our Lord Byzantine Catholic Church in Clairton with Father Ivan Mina officiating. Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.
