Daniel W. Morgan, Sr.

Daniel W. Morgan, Sr., age 100, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Friday, February 23, 2018 at home. He was a retired crane man for U.S. Steel Irvin Works in West Mifflin and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He loved fishing and cutting grass on his tractor. Born August 10, 1917 in Patton, he was a son of the late Andrew G. Morgan and Mary (Krisik) Morgan and husband of the late Josephine (Baptist) Morgan. He is survived by his daughters, Georgiann E. Chiapetta of New Eagle and Dana Jo Pelliccione of Finleyville; son, Daniel W. Morgan, Jr. of Niles, OH; brother, Kenny Morgan of Hubbard, OH; also 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Paul E. Bekavac Funeral Home, Elizabeth on Monday, February 26, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at 12 Noon in the Round Hill Presbyterian Church, Elizabeth Twp., with Chaplain Larry Coltura officiating. Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.
