Ann E. (Papucic) Martin

Ann E. Martin, age 81 of Clairton, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2016.  Born May 6, 1935 in Clairton, she was a daughter of the late Mate' and Katie (Kronec) Papucic.  A retired Custodian and Cafeteria Worker for St. Clare School and who also worked at Isaly's, both in Clairton, Ann was a member of both St. Clare of Assisi Parish and the CFU Lodge #248 in Clairton.  A devout woman who took great care of her home and family, Ann will be loved and missed by all who knew her.  She is survived by her daughter Michelle (Michael) Tevis of Clairton, granddaughter Mikayla Tevis of Clairton, sister Veronica (Joseph) Elkowitz of Clairton, her former husband Leonard "Putzy" Martin of West Mifflin, and also nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her brother Michael Papucic.  Friends will be received in the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, Clairton, on Monday, October 3, 2016 from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at 10 AM in St. Clare Church, Clairton.  Burial will follow in St. Clare Cemetery.  Memorial contributions in Ann's name should be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
